How This All Started
How did this all start?
I remember when I first started working as a cardiac sonographer.
After a few years of working, I started to feel stuck. It seemed like I didn’t have the time or the resources to keep learning something new every day.
Was this what I was supposed to do until I retire?
The hospitals were overbooked, the attending cardiologists were always so busy, and the I found myself struggling to learn from medical journals.
There were limited resources for echocardiography professionals…Why?
As I faced these obstacles, I realized there had to be a better way to support not just myself, but other professionals like me who were looking for a way to grow, connect, and learn.
I turned to Instagram to share my passion for echocardiography and distract myself from the challenges of launching an imaging center.
Many of you had my back!
It was my turn to have yours.
I shifted more energy to online education and The Echo Journal was born.
Today, our platform features over 100 lessons and 200 teaching cases, all designed to help you grow in your practice.
